If you are trusting in consensus rather than data then you are setting yourself up to be like the herd rather than the skeptic. Don't trust scientists. Trust science itself. The data doesn't lie...scientists do.

The self-analysis of atheists...

What emotional biases do you have, that would prevent you from admitting that there is a Creator?
What personal and emotional agenda do you have in admitting that the universities have diseducated you into believing that there is no evidence for a Creator?
What personal and emotional biases could you possibly have which could affect your openness to the logic of a Creator?
What experiences have you had with "religion" in general which could contribute to your reaction to the basic knowledge that there is a Creator?
What indoctrination could you be a victim of which would deceive you prevent you from believing that God would ensure that one "religion" was right? (the One with His Holy Son Jesus Christ)
What metaphysical entities could exist (in and around your mind) which could facilitate your own self-deceptions and tempt you to believe false things about whether there is a Creator? Or perhaps even "blind" you through a series of your own poor choices regarding rejecting the Creator?
What biases could you have that would contribute to you denying the Creator's logical (Self)existence?
If "sin" moral evil is indeed a reality and part of your life.... could it affect your decision making.... or give you an agenda/bias which is against the Creator?

The "Hiddenness" of the Creator vs. The "Obviousness" of the Creator.
Yes, God is invisible and infinite so that we can't see Him with physical eyes... but we DO see the results of His creation...and that is where the obviousness of the Creator comes in.
Why is there something instead of nothing? should scream theism.
The necessity of "being" should scream theism.
The absurdity of infinite regress should scream theism.
The necessity of "first change" or first movement/motion should scream theism.
The epistemology of the laws of logic should imply metaphysical pre-existence of some sort.
Mathematics and infinite order should point to an infinite ordered source.
Those last two involve MORE than just "description" and it is a pathetic equivocation to attempt to skirt the logic of the necessity of origin.
The logical conclusion of the impossibility of abiogenesis/biopoiesis should scream theism.
The necessity of First Cause (for inflation/change) should scream theism.
Our uniform and repeated experience with information, programming, code, and machines and factories should scream "features which come from Intelligence" in biological systems.
The Fine Tuning of the universe should make theism just as obvious.
Just looking at the balance between plant life and animal life and the carbon dioxide and oxygen cycle should be enough for you to know that there is a Creator.

Now "a" Creator = General agnostic undecided theism. The general idea of a Creator is obvious..
The idea that Jesus Christ IS that Creator incarnate (in human flesh) and that He rose from the dead after demonstrating self-sacrificing love is NOT what we are saying is obvious.
I find arguments against theism rather silly. There is very little credibility to them...and they often involve equivocation or a complete failure at intellectual taxonomy.
Question the fatuousness of denying the obvious Creator (because you've blinded yourself with naturalistic/materialistic assumptions).
Question everything.
